Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

Information you give us:

• Contact form: your name, email, phone, company, industry, the service you're interested in and your message.
• Chat with Genix: the messages you write and any details you choose to share, such as your name, email, phone, company and what your business needs.
• Booking a call: your name, email, time zone, the time you choose and notes about your project.
• Website diagnosis: the address of a website you ask Genix to analyze.

Information collected automatically: technical data needed to run the site, such as your browser type and language, the page where you opened the chat and your IP address. We use your IP address only temporarily to prevent abuse (for example, limiting the number of messages per minute); we don't store it with your conversation. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs.

2. Cookies and local storage

We only use what the site needs to work. We don't use advertising cookies or third-party analytics.

• vx_chat (cookie, 30 days): keeps your conversation with Genix if you leave and come back.
• NEXT_LOCALE (cookie, 1 year): remembers the language you chose.
• vlgenix-theme (local storage): remembers light or dark mode.
• Session storage: so the chat invitation is shown only once per visit.

You can delete cookies and site data from your browser settings at any time; the site will keep working, but it will forget your conversation and preferences.

3. How we use your information

• To answer your questions, prepare proposals and provide our services.
• To run the AI assistant: answer questions, understand your needs, book calls and run the website diagnosis you request.
• To schedule and manage calls, including confirmations, reminders and changes.
• To contact you about your request. We don't send marketing newsletters unless you ask for them.
• To keep the site secure, prevent abuse, improve our services and comply with the law.

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we don't use it for third-party advertising.

4. Our AI assistant, Genix

Genix is an artificial intelligence, not a person. To generate its replies, your messages are processed by Anthropic (the company behind the Claude AI models), acting as our service provider under its commercial terms, which do not allow it to use this data to train its models.

Please don't share sensitive information in the chat, such as health data, passwords, bank or card numbers, or government ID numbers. Genix's replies may contain mistakes and are not legal, financial or professional advice.

When you ask for a website diagnosis, we open the public page you shared and run automated checks on that domain, including a security check with the Mozilla HTTP Observatory service.

5. Service providers

We share information only with the providers that help us run this site, and only for that purpose:

• Vercel — website hosting.
• Supabase — database where we store conversations, contact requests and bookings.
• Anthropic — AI models that power Genix.
• Resend — delivery of notification emails to our team.
• Cal.com — scheduling; it sends you the booking confirmation and the meeting link.
• Mozilla HTTP Observatory — security check of a website you ask us to analyze.
• WhatsApp (Meta) — only if you choose to contact us there; WhatsApp's own privacy policy applies.

These providers may process data in the United States and other countries. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights and the safety of others.

6. How long we keep it

Chat conversations in which you don't share your contact details are deleted automatically after 30 days. Contact requests, conversations linked to them and bookings are kept for as long as we need them to respond, work with you and keep basic business records; after that we delete or anonymize them. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

7. Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to stop contacting you. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law (for example, the GDPR in the European Union and United Kingdom, US state privacy laws such as California's, or Uruguay's Law 18.331). Write to leonardglez12485@gmail.com and we'll reply within 30 days. We won't treat you differently for exercising your rights.

8. Security

The site uses encrypted connections (HTTPS), access to stored data is limited to our team, and we take reasonable measures to protect it. No system is 100% secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

9. Children

This site is meant for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We don't knowingly collect information from them; if you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our services change. The date at the top shows the latest version; if the changes are significant, we'll make that clear on the site.
